The Story Behind the Practice

Mikayla Wachsmann's passion for nutrition and functional medicine is deeply personal. Shaped by a family history marked by cancer and chronic illness—including the loss of her father to brain cancer at a young age—she has witnessed firsthand the profound impact of disease on the body and spirit.

Her journey into the world of healing began with a powerful realization: food is medicine, and the body thrives when treated as an interconnected whole rather than a collection of separate parts.

Today, Mikayla is firmly rooted in the practice of clinical nutrition and functional medicine. She combines evidence-based insight with compassionate, personalized care to help you experience greater vitality, longevity, and ease in your everyday life.

Her mission is simple: to help you feel your best for longer.

Rooted in Care

She believes in evidence-based medicine and understands that true healing isn’t one-size-fits-all—what works for one person may not work for another.

Her approach is rooted in the idea of healing from the inside out, addressing the root cause of illness rather than offering quick fixes or “band-aid” solutions. Guided by honesty, strong ethics, and authenticity, she values real conversation and deep connection. She trusts in the power of testing, not guessing because clarity matters. And above all, she lives by the belief that each day is an opportunity to choose the most aligned, empowered version of yourself.

Life is too short to settle for anything less.
